This incarnation of DaveLinger.com was created by Dave Linger in September of 2006, although it continues to be updated. It is XHTML 1.0 Transitional. The effects you see above may vary from browser to browser, due to the fact that they are controlled entirely by cascading style sheets.

The awesome little icons you see around here are from famfamfam.com, they have tons of great quality free use icons!

The DaveLinger.com music player is a combination of a PHP script to "find all mp3s in the folder and randomly pick one", javascript to have a "refresh" link, afAMP Flash-based mp3 player, and CSS and HTML to tie it all together. Right now it's hosted at PCritics.com, as it has more bandwidth to stream the files faster.

This website, among others, is hosted on the Linger.com server located at Wade's Garage in Fairmont, WV, running on Time Warner RoadRunner Business Class. The server PC itself was built by myself, consisting of a Pentium D 925 (dual core 3.0GHz), dual 500GB hard drives, and 2GB G.Skill memory. We run Microsoft Windows Server 2003.

Let's see... where to start... I'm 17 years old. I work at Global Science and Technology part time, and I'm currently the webmaster of www.linger.com , www.wrlf.com (94 Rock, another part time job), www.PCritics.com , www.GameFreaks365.com , www.toolateforcaesar.com , www.brummage.com , www.davelinger.com , www.wadesgarage.com, and some others. Anyway, as you can see, I'm somewhat advanced in terms of web design. Hence this site. I'd consider myself part time student, part time web designer, since both of my jobs are for web design =/

If you want me to make a website for you, I will. Just keep in mind that it won't be free. I'm not saying it'll be expensive, but it won't be free. I've done school projects in the past, but that doesn't really count. My prices are low, as far as web design goes. Keep in mind you'll have to pay for hosting and domain registration as well. In order for me to give you an accurate estimate, you MUST tell me WHAT you want. Examples: how many pages? What kind of features? That kind of stuff.
